Payroll Clerk - (Carleton) in Monroe, Michigan For Sale

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a Payroll Clerk for our client in Carleton, MI. This is a long-term, day shift position, paying $11.00 per hour. Job duties include: *Release appropriate payroll items in AS400 for each terminal location. *Comdata administering as directed. *Generate payroll reports for inclusion with checks (Back up). *Sort and process checks weekly. *Prepare DWRs for audit. *Calculating miles, flat rates and hours for drivers pay. *Enter data into Excel spreadsheets and ADP. *Generate and maintain weekly signature lists and labels. *Prepare specialized packages and arrange shipments. *Driver phone calls / customer service. *Participate in driver orientation process. *Prepare and process payroll/settlement related communications. *Distribute communications to management and appropriate departments. *Sorting mail - going to post office & banks on a rotational basis. *Mail break down. Preferred qualifications: *Former transportation or high volume payroll experience. *Computer literate. *Proficient in Excel (formulas and pivot tables). *AS400 experience preferred. *ADP experience preferred.
