Ref ID: xxxx0-xxxx64 Classification: Accounts Receivable Clerk Compensation: $14.25 to $16.50 per hour A down river company is seeking an Accounts Receivable clerk to join their team. As the Accounts Receivable Clerk you will be responsible for but not limited too: Primarily works independently in completing High Volume daily tasks in all areas of Accounts Receivable. Employ Company standards and procedures as defined by the A/C. Manage Invoice Approval Statuses to minimize delinquent accounts. Employ Collection Procedures. Generate weekly A/R reports for review with management and Branches. Interface with Company personnel (Sales and I/T) to identify and troubleshoot erroneous chargebacks/credits and potential EDI issues. Backup and assist with application of cash receipts to outstanding invoices. Backup and assist with processing invoice corrections and returned goods credits. The ideal Accounts Receivable Clerk will meet the following criteria: Requirements: Prior progressive experience in an Accounts Receivable function. A/R experience with large volume, EDI based customers. Proficient with MS Office including Excel (VLKUP and Pivot) and Word. Must be detail oriented, with accurate data entry skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. ERP system experience - MAS Software experience preferred. Team Player willing to assist others when necessary. Intermediate Account Reconciliation, Intermediate Accounts Receivable, Intermediate MS Excel, None, None None.
