KC Integrated Services, a full service supply chain group of companies is recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer for our corporate offices in Carleton, Michigan. The ideal candidate will possess the skills outlined below:
Fully participate in and support the KC Transportation Quality System
Review monthly financial statements
Oversee the Accounting Staff
Oversee daily cash management
Main contact with accounting firm and all company financial institutions
Obtain financing for all real estate and transportation equipment purchases
Oversee the addition and disposition of assets-real estate, transportation, etc and the asset reimbursement/rebates from suppliers
Oversee building maintenance, cleaning, repairs and improvements
Prepare fuel tax returns, monthly consolidated financial statements
Prepare annual intercompany eliminations for reviewed financial statements
Direct financial affairs of the organization
Establish major economic objectives and policies for the company
Direct and prepare financial analysis of operations for management guidance
Report and recommend to top management or Board of Directors in regards to policies and programs
Direct and coordinate company's financial affairs according to financial principles and government regulations
Plan and direct new operational procedures to obtain optimum efficiency and reduced costs
Establish extensive line of credit: Directs receipts, disbursement and expenditures of money or capital assets
Approve and sign documents effecting monetary transactions
Direct activities concerned with safekeeping, control and accounting for assets and securities
Direct preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Analyze division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, allocate operating budget
Direct preparation of reports which outline company's financial position in areas of income, expense and earnings based on past, present and future operations
Direct preparation of directive to division or department administrator outlining policy, program or operation changes to be implemented
Promote the organization in financial markets to assure sources of capital
Direct the IT department priorities and expenditures
Must also possess:
