IT Financial Business Analyst - (Monroe) in Monroe, Michigan For Sale

Responsible for the evaluation of business requirements related to HR, Finance and Accounting systems. Responsible for comprehension of the overall processes associated with various HR, Finance and Accounting functions as they relate to software systems. Works closely with HR, Finance and Accounting business resources and IT Financial Systems team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of HR, Finance, and Accounting requirements. Solicit client requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures. Identifies customer requirements, develops test schedules, reviews testing plans, and tracks and documents the development and results of these plans. Use industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client requirements such as data flow modeling, use case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, and object modeling. Alerts management of potential HR, Finance, or Accounting risks and issues of importance. Perform general accounting functions as it relates to system conversion activities Use industry standard Finance and Accounting techniques to uncover local Market requirements. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of HR, Finance, and Accounting computing systems. Adhere to HR and Accounting process guidelines and standards Participates in documentation of HR, Finance, Accounting processes and prepare groundwork Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new Finance/Accounting systems Participate in rollout of HR, Finance, and Accounting systems in other La-Z-Boy related markets Create, modify, and maintain, Accounting reports using various report writing tools Identify areas of potential Accounting business risk and communicate these to management. Other duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 2-3 years of Accounting in a business setting Applied usage of software to execute accounting transactions Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills Broad Knowledge of Financial and Accounting practices. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. Ability to conduct research into Accounting issues and products as required. Ability to conduct and analyze business processes. Ability to communicate ideas in a user-friendly language. Highly self motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a changing environment Must be Finance/Accounting-oriented, enjoy work with new tools, and a self motivated learner Able to travel up to 20%
